My Beliefs as a Dog Photographer

I believe dogs are family. Not accessories, not status symbols, not just animals, but family. They are loved, celebrated, and mourned as deeply as any other member of our lives.

I honour the bond between dog and human. My photography is more than a picture, it’s a way to preserve the way your dog looks at you, the way their fur catches the light, and the joy they bring into every space they enter.

I create with intention. From the way I choose light and location to the way I guide you through your artwork selection, every step is deliberate, thoughtful, and made to honour your dog’s story.

I am an advocate. My business was born in rescue kennels, photographing shelter dogs so they could be seen and chosen. That heart for rescue still drives what I do today.

I value experiences over transactions. A photography experience with me isn’t rushed or impersonal. It’s about connection, with me, with your dog, and with the moment we’re creating together.

I make art that lasts. Digital files are fleeting. Printed artwork is forever. I create heirloom pieces so your dog’s place in your life is never forgotten.

I welcome everyone. My studio and my work are safe spaces for all – every person, every dog, every story is respected and celebrated.

I work where I live and love. Whether it’s the golden paddocks of my Wootton farm, the windswept beaches before sunset, or the comfort of my countryside studio, my locations are as much a part of the story as the dogs themselves.

My own life with senior dogs has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of making every day their best day.
