OUR LOCATION
Jo Lyons Photography provides a destination dog photography experience located in one of Australia's most stunning and serene destinations in the sleepy and tiny town of Wootton located in the hinterland of the Great Lakes region of Barrington Coast NSW.
Wootton is located 20 minutes from Bulahdelah in the south and just 10 minutes from Coolongolook in the north on the Wootton Way which used to be the Pacific Highway before it was bypassed in 1999.
THE STUDIO
Our stunning purpose-built dog photography studio on our farm is now open!
The studio has 48 square meters of studio and client space, is air-conditioned and has the most spectacular views from the verandah. This space has been designed with dogs in mind and combined with the outdoor adventure areas makes for a unique experience for you and your dog.

ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXPLORING
Depending on the outcome you seek for your artwork and the energy levels of you and your dog, we can shoot in a variety of locations throughout the farm, or simply spend our time in one central area that is close to your car.
For the more adventurous, we even have a river on our farm we can hike to and explore together. Sessions are held in the late afternoon in the two hours leading up to sunset. This time provides the most beautiful light resulting in stunning portraits of your dog.
Your dog will get to spend a couple of hours exploring new smells, sights and sounds whilst having the best time. You will get to relax and enjoy the space and freedom and endless smiles that come with seeing your best friend living their best life. Oh and I guarantee they will be out like a light when you get home! Every client tells me their dog crashed out early and slept soundly all night. Most fall asleep in the car on the way home or back to their accommodation.
ENSURING YOUR AND YOUR DOG'S SAFETY
Dogs can stay on leash throughout the experience and the leash can usually be edited out in photographs purchased as artwork.
When you book your session I'll provide you with some tips and tricks to prepare you for your session to ensure you have the most amazing experience.
