Millie the Mini Schnauzer at Jo Lyons Photography Studio Entrance

Our stunning purpose-built dog photography studio on our farm opened in March 2023 and is a studio like no other!

Perched on the side of a hill, the studio contains 48 square meters of studio and client space, is air-conditioned and has the most magnificent views from the verandah.

This space has been designed with dogs 100% in mind and combined with the outdoor adventure areas makes for a unique experience for you and your dog.

Check out our blog post to see the many options for colour, style and furniture in the studio to best suit your home and decor. This blog will soon be updated with photos from the new studio.

Wondering what else you can do in our beautiful part of the world while you are up here for a getaway? Check out Explore Barrington Coast for all on offer from the mountains to the sea.

Blue steel look by an Marty (Border Collie x Poodle)

We have the best of both worlds here at our studio, including our stunning countryside surroundings where you and your dog can take in the serenity and a stroll whilst I take beautiful natural outdoor portraits. Most dogs go on a sniffari when they arrive, and there is no end to the opportunity for zoomies when they realise how much private space they have to enjoy and explore.

We have a range of natural sets to create variety in your portraits. A large natural posing rock, a firepit surrounded by native grasses, grassy avenues and stunning whiskey grass backdrops. We even have a running avenue complete with a small jump which is great for action shots.

Mix it up with some portraits around the studio entry and stone pathways, creating a beautiful range of colours and textures in the finished artworks.
