The Countryside Dog Photography Experience

Where peaceful landscapes, gentle connection and heirloom artwork come together

A photography experience surrounded by stillness and space

Tucked away in the tiny town of Wootton on the Barrington Coast, my countryside studio sits on our 44-acre property overlooking rolling hills, fresh air and birdsong. There are no neighbours, no traffic and no distractions, just a quiet sanctuary designed for dogs to feel safe, relaxed and completely themselves.

Whether your dog is confident, timid, reactive or in their twilight years, this private environment gives them room to breathe and settle in at their own pace.

Luna’s circle, a safe and gentle welcome

Beside the studio is Luna’s Circle Playground, a fully fenced, peaceful space where dogs can arrive gently without overwhelm. There are new scents to explore, soft grass under their paws and the freedom to decompress before we begin.

This warm welcome sets the tone for the entire experience, allowing your dog to build trust, curiosity and confidence.

The studio, designed with dogs in mind

Perched on the hillside with spectacular valley views, the studio is a calm, climate-controlled space with 48 square metres of room to create fine art portraits. It’s intentionally minimalist and versatile so your dog remains the star of every frame.

Expect quiet moments, gentle guidance and a slow, thoughtful pace that honours your dog’s personality.

A high-touch experience from the moment you arrive

You’ll be greeted at the gate and guided every step of the way so you can settle into the tranquillity of the countryside. Many clients say the moment they arrive, their worries fall away and they feel like they’ve stepped into another world.

Expect gentle direction, lots of laughter, quiet pauses, and the time and space to watch your dog simply be.

This isn’t just a photography session, it’s an experience you’ll remember.

Creating artwork that feels like home

Within a fortnight of your session, we reconnect for one of my favourite moments, the reveal. If you’re close by, you’re welcomed back into the studio to see your images unfold on the big screen, cinematic and full of emotion. And if you’re travelling from further away, we meet over Zoom so you can experience the reveal curled up at home with your dog beside you.

Either way, it’s a beautiful chance to relive the day and begin dreaming about the artwork that will soon become part of your home. From wall art to fine art albums and artisan print boxes, each piece is designed to honour your dog’s story in a way that feels deeply personal.

Make a countryside escape of it

Many of my clients travel from Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Sydney and beyond. If you’re coming from further afield, I recommend staying locally and enjoying a slow weekend on the Barrington Coast.

I can recommend dog-friendly accommodation and local experiences to help you make the most of your getaway.
