Welcome to Week 9 of the Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project. This week’s theme is “No Place Like Home”.
Matchy Matchy!
Our home was built in the 1940s when all the skilled tradesman and craftsman had gone to war. The homes built during WW2 were labelled “austere” due to their unimaginative and basic structure. Over the past 20 years we’ve renovated the various parts of the home and transformed it into an edgy little cottage surrounded by McMansions. It’s been the perfect little home for us and our #3DogKateers but we are really looking forward to moving to our farm this year and leaving the rat race and the surrounding McMansions behind. I can’t wait to have my own studio there too.
So back to Sydney, and this week’s theme. A few years ago my husband Neal put up a garden shed and decided to paint it to match the house… our home is painted in Dulux Domino Black with red features, so in my mad last minute rush this morning to come up with this blog post (I’m an ENFP and thrive on a deadline), I decided use our two little houses for this week’s theme! Especially since we won’t be living here much longer and it has been home for 20 years now.
First up Little Luna Lyons willingly posed for me in front of our garden shed… she was fully remunerated with free range chicken breast jerky I might add. Then we moved on the front of the home this afternoon. All #3DogKateers were there for the treats, but only two cooperated, kind of. Little Miss Daisy lay at my side refusing to take part in such silly shenanigans. Harvey stepped up to the mark and joined Luna in the fun.

I want your weather! We have 26 inches of snow right now. Lovely images and great description of your home!
Thank you… I want your snow Rachel! Do you want to swap for a while, lol.
What an adorable little pack you have. Love these images!
Thank you Angela… we love them to bits!
Oh my goodness… Luna and Harvey are too Adorable!!
Yep we think so too Col 🙂
I love your little cottage and matching shed! I’m going to admit, I had to search on ENFP. And then take the test myself – I’m an INFJ-A, so going to have to read more about that – so your post made me go…”squirrel” and I was off! LOL
Beautiful images, Jo! Love the pop of red – how fun! These two are the cutest!
Love the idea of putting the dogs at the front door – especially since it’s a nice little cozy place with a red door for pop! I think the last couple of photos show how different two dogs can look with just a change in their ears or expressions – the first one I love, the second one says “We are done” to me.
I love your photos, your house colors, and your dogs. AND, I speak ENFP fluently. 🙂
