Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project – Week 34 – Metal
Welcome to Week 34 of the Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project. This week’s theme is “Metal” … and recently it provided a great backdrop for my Teeny Tiny Dogs sessions.

Recently I photographed a couple of my Teeny Tiny Dogs and their Stories photo sessions at an amazing park in Sydney which has a varied and interesting history. You can find out more about Ballast Point Reserve here. The rusty metal structures you can see in these photographs are remnants of the Caltex Oil Refinery which was one of the past uses of this land. They are the fuel storage tanks.
These dogs were also the perfect colours for such a dramatic backdrop. Little Pippa in the first photograph is the teeniest tiniest dog I’ve every had the pleasure to meet, and the three muskateers in the other three images were Charli, Pablo and Sami. Sami will feature in the book, and her two buddies came along to watch and get a few family photos together. Not long after these photos were taken, the weather turned and it started raining. We made it through the session in the nick of time!
