Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project – Week 33 – Wood

Welcome to Week 33 of the Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project.  This week’s theme is “Wood” … and there’s lots of it here on the farm! Dogs and wood together are such a naturally gorgeous combination.

Spur of the Moment

I have to admit, most of the themes in this 52 week project have been very last minute for me. As I’m in the middle of my book project, I tend to leave it until the Friday and I’m usually still writing the blog at 2 minutes before it needs to be published! Yes I tend to thrive on the deadline!

I arrived at the farm yesterday afternoon and was busy working most of today and realised the time was 3.30pm, so I grabbed my camera and the #3dogkateers and headed out into the garden. My husband Neal is away on his annual surf pilgrimage in Indonesia this week, so it was just me without any assistant as are most of my 52 week project sessions.

I was given a wooden box a few weeks ago by my brother, which was made by my niece for a school project. So I grabbed that box (which by the way is very heavy for a little box!) and took some photos with a very compliant Daisy who can be a great muse when she’s in the mood.

Daisy in a box! I know you said it was 3:30pm, but it looks like sunset lighting – just gorgeous Jo!
