Bonded dogs lose their family and home so are now seeking a new start in life together.
I’d like to introduce you to LuLu and Milo… who I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing at Sydney Park last weekend.
These two adorable kids were surrendered to my friends at Sydney Animal Second Chance Inc about three months ago as a result of a marriage breakdown. When they first came into care, they spent time living with the SAS volunteer behaviourist Marie as little LuLu was wasn’t very fond of meeting other dogs… she only has eyes for Milo. Today she is much more social and just yesterday a little birdie told me that little Miss Lu Lu strutted her stuff around sydney park not at all phased by dogs passing by.
Now a little about these two…
Lulu is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix (going by her looks I’d say there was a Pug involved somewhere) and Milo is a more mature 7 year old Fox terrier mix. These two adore being part of a family.
They are both toilet trained, enjoy their walks, and love their visits to the park where they can interact with other dogs and just play. LuLu is a little scared of bigger dogs if they run up to her for a sniff but with a confident handler she doesn’t feel so threatened and she is progressing with every day. She loves to play with squeaky toys and to play with her best mate Milo, but her favourite time is to cuddle up with her humans.
Milo is very smart chap and knows a few commands like sit, down and shake and is capable of learning more. He is confident around any other dog he meets. Milo’s favourite pastime is to snuggle up under a blanket and bury himself under the doona. Both would love a home without cats as they really don’t want to spend their days chasing them.
If you would like to meet Milo and LuLu please email send to firstname.lastname@example.org as much information as possible so that they can see if you would be a perfect match for Milo and LuLu.
