Are you ready for an adorable and humorous little JRT/foxie mix?
Over the last 3 weeks I’ve spent some time each week visiting, photographing and getting to know this little minx of a dog. His name is Leonard and he is absolutely adorable. He’ll cry a funny cry when you are not in his enclosure with him… and he’s now up for adoption so he’s moved out of quarantine and into the normal kennels. This means he gets lots of time in the outdoor play areas each day to play his favourite game… Fetch! Leonard absolutelly loves tennis balls and he does bring them right back to you.
Leonard was found in Engadine on 16/09/18. He is microchipped but the shelter haven’t been able to get in contact with an owner. His microchip says he is approx 7 years old.
Is his owner an elderly person who has perhaps passed away or gone to hospital? Is his owner simply a person who gave up on their little dog and doesn’t want to be contacted? It seems odd to me that his owner would not be searching heaven and earth to find him and bring him home.
On 1 October… the shiny new start to a new week and month… it was the first day to a hopeful future for Leonard as he began his quest to find a loving forever home.
Have you fallen in love with Leonard yet? If you would like to meet him, get in touch with the shelter staff pronto as this little bundle of joy won’t be homeless for long. Stay tuned for Leonard’s PetRescue listing.
If you would love me to photograph your beloved dog, get in touch and let’s plan a wonderful adventure!
